Church of Scientology

L. Ron Hubbard founded Scientology as a church in 1954.  Their major book of teachings is Dianetics.  Some famous movie stars like John Travola and his wife Kelly Preston are members.  Like the UC they have had many legal battles.  The latest attack is from Germany that is more interested in legislation against small groups than America.  Even Rev. Moon is banned from entering the country.  It's like the Muslims banning the Bible in their countries. 

This kind of thinking by the current Germans is reminiscent of a former leader who persecuted the minority religion of Judaism.  Now they do it again saying that small groups are Hitlerlike.  You can't win with people who cannot think.  When will they ever learn?

Like so many groups, Scientologists are on a crusade to help people. They are on a mission to build a better world. At their website they say they are on a "quest for a new civilization." They say they are working to "achieving the aims of Scientology: ‘A civilization without insanity, without war, where the able can prosper and honest beings can have rights, and where Man is free to rise to greater heights.’"
