PILGRIMS PERSECUTED

The Pilgrims who founded America came here to escape persecution.  Their leader, William Bradford, is one of the greatest men who has ever lived.  His book, Of Plymouth Plantation, is a masterpiece and America's first classic.  Did he go to jail?  Yes.  His jail cell in England is a tourist attraction.  Here is a picture of the jail.
